During this trial Dr. Richard Duplantis testified as an Chiropractic expert witness in the treatment of a patient who sustained spinal injuries from an Auto Accident.

The Court places great reliance on the testimony of Dr. Duplantis, who is more than a Chiropractor. Dr. Duplantis has some extensive training in I guess you would call it sports medicine. He has studied and worked extensively in the area of attempting to rehabilitate people from injuries and the Court was impressed by his demeanor, his knowledge, and the manner in which he kept his records, which were exemplary for the most part – better than most, if not better than all doctors that this Court has seen to date in its 25 years of having dealt with these types of cases.

Dr. Duplantis’s records documented the patient’s complaints, documented the position of where she described her pain to be, documented his findings and his opinion and his treatment plan on almost every visit -- I think on every visit -- and provides a great deal of information as to how much suffering this lady was undergoing.
