Meet Dr. Duplantis
Dr. Richard Duplantis is a proud Catholic exclusively licensed in the State of Louisiana as a Doctor of Chiropractic. He provides quality professional care utilizing scientifically proven Chiropractic services while utilizing his extensive education to make informed treatment decisions. Dr. Duplantis graduated from Texas Chiropractic College and has continued to expand on his education, earning a Doctor of Medicine degree, a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology, and began his education journey here at UL earning his Bachelor of Science degree.
His extensive hands-on experience, education and skill set includes 35+ years of chiropractic care with an emphasis on back and neck pain as well the treatment of auto accident victims. Dr. Duplantis’ drive to learn the most intricate details of patient care included completion of two years of Clinical Medical rotations through the LSU University Medical Center System. He completed extensive rotations in Clinical Medical training and gained experience in the areas of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Psychiatry, General Surgery, Obstetrics-Gynecology, and Neurology. Dr. Duplantis also worked for three years in Industrial Medicine Clinics completing Pre-Employment physicals and treating work related injuries.
Dr. Duplantis has worked with attorneys in personal injury cases and has been qualified as an expert witness in the Chiropractic field by testifying at numerous court trials. Dr. Duplantis continues to go the extra mile to provide his patients with the most effective health care for their needs.
Dr. Duplantis produced a weekly TV show on the Cox Cable channel for three years called "Its Your Health" which covered many health topics to educate the public. Although he no longer produces the show on Cox Cable, he does produce videos from time to time and posts them here on this website. Look for more future health topics on this website.
